Our Makers this month are Portishead couple Karen & John from @industrial_modern_furniture

John has combined his 30 year experience as a steel welder engineer with his love of wood to craft unique, bespoke pieces of furniture.

From fireside log holders, fairy benches and fairy garden stakes to dining table & chairs, furniture can be created that is unique to you.

We have an Industrial Modern bespoke drinks cabinet featuring a bottle shelf & glass hangers that can hold up to 12 glasses. Made with solid steel, locally sourced wood & inlaid with a stylish ceramic - It’s a stand out piece.

The pier inspired stool is made from solid steel & features criss cross designs just like the seaside pier structures. A locally sourced oak finishes the piece to create a little seat or handy table.
