Back to work! April 2021

So, here we go AGAIN - some chap called Boris (good name for a shaggy dog that) has said we can re-open on 12th April WOOHOO!!!!

This will be the 3rd time we’ve re-opened & each time Mom gets in a right panic & starts running around like a lunatic - cleaning the shop, painting walls - well - getting Dad to paint the walls! buying new stock to take to the shop & generally worrying if customers will come back?……I just keep my head down, I will be paws on when we open of course, but until then I will just conserve my energy.

I had to have a bath the other day - which frankly I really resent. I mean what’s the point of having a wiry, weather resistant double coat & then being plunged in a bath?!! (Jake - the water’s only up to your ankles! Mom.)

You may not recognise me as i’ve had dramatic weight loss! I was put on a diet last year as I had to have some surgery (nothing major, I don’t like to make a big deal of these things - but I did get to sleep on the bed for a couple of nights - result!) I think Mom & Dad forgot to take me off the diet as I only get a fraction of the treats I used to. But, I have to say I do like all of the lovely comments I get on my small waist! I think Mom could do with easing off the treats, she’s not going to be able to wear her joggers to the shop!!

Probably like most of you, I desperately need a hair cut at the moment - what a time for my clippers to break! I think once I’ve had a decent haircut I’m going to look Even Slimmer!

So looking forward to seeing you all again, it’s been far too long.
