Maker of the month / Seaview Glass

My name is Becky and alongside my husband James, we run Seaview Glass where we make a range of fused glass artwork.

I first discovered my love for fused glass after attending a workshop with my mother-in-law, whilst on holiday in Bude, Cornwall. From that moment we were hooked. By the time our holiday had finished, my mother -in-law had already decided to order a kiln and turn the home office into a glass studio! We both started making dozens of pieces of fused glass and from there we decided to launch Seaview Glass

Since then we have enjoyed making fused glass art as a family, experimenting with different designs and techniques. Each of us has our own favourite pieces to make or techniques to use. Our work is inspired by our love of the outdoors, both in the fields surrounding our house and the beautiful view of the sea that we have from our studio.
