My Summer Holiday!

It’s been a busy few months in Ebb & Flo. We’ve had lots of lovely new summer stock in - I know that as there have been lots of boxes stacked all around me and my bed - now that has been ruff! I don’t mind too much though as I’ve got a nice place of my own under the counter with a soft blanket, cushion and several toys for when I am feeling a little more active!

So, on to my holiday - I took Mom and Dad to Cornwall for a few days in August to enjoy all the dog friendly beaches. I had a pretty full weekend - swimming, surfing and cycling along the Camel Trail. It was thirsty work, so I stopped off at the Pub for a bowl of the barman’s finest cornish water (but they always take photos of me with half a lager - I think they want to feel better about themselves!)

Of course, Mom and Dad always like a holiday near some of our lovely cornish suppliers; St.Eval Candle Company - Wow, those fragrances really get my nose twitching!), Poppy Treffry - I love those hand-stitched purses, tea-towels, mobile phones and sunglasses cases, especially the ones with the dogs on them. Of course, my favourite is the fine picture of a Border Terrier! Other Cornish suppliers include Bloom Remedies who do handmade essential oil creams, sprays and butters (more lovely smells) and A Short Walk who have provided us with a range of home and garden eco products including moon, tide and time clocks. I couldn’t believe those clocks are made from recycled plastic milk bottles - that’s pawsitively amazing!..although it’s always walkies time to me anyway!
